DeWayne and the Top Onyx team experience challenges similar to those of all subcontractors in the construction industry each and every day. Finding skilled tradespeople, procurement and supply chain challenges, complex designs and fast paced schedules are continually a challenge within the industry. Top Onyx approaches each of these problems head on and is always there to do whatever they can to deliver a high quality project on time regardless of the challenges. DeWayne works side by side with his crews to ensure that the project meets or exceeds the clients expectations and drives accountability within his organization.
The biggest differentiator between Top Onyx and their competition is that they are actively engaged in the process of solving challenging problems. There are other contractors who install tile and granite, but you can always be sure that DeWayne and his team will support the project from start to through completion and will always communicate challenges along with potential solutions, which is exactly what we expect from trusted partners.
The Top Onyx Team was up against a tight deadline while working for McCarthy building 3 restaurants at Terminal 3. Their team worked for about 18 hours a day to complete their scope over a week and weekend to deliver the project on time. DeWayne was on site with the team making sure the team had what they needed and often put on his tools to ensure that we got to the finish line successfully. No excuses, just results.
I am a Project Manager for a General Contractor and I found Top Onyx in my data base while looking for someone to fabricate a slab of material I had into new counter tops. This was an extremely difficult material to work with and he assured me that their processes would allow them to fabricate what I needed without a problem. He shared how long it would take and they delivered and installed on the committed date. I work with subcontractors every day. This is one that I trust and am very happy to recommend. First let me say this...My daughter walks into the room after they drop the island slab and says wow...That Looks awesome. I have been wanting a dream kitchen for most of my life and we have been planning it for the last 4 months. When I met DeWayne from Top Onyx the first time he listened attentively to every detail. We researched all of the fancy edges and wanted every detail and then saw the price. It wasn't in our budget but Top Onyx wanted to give us the best quality and wanted to work with us. Genuinely wanted to work with us, not the fake fluff or cheesy sales pitches. When you are a craftsmen you don't need to make cheesy pitches. We received 6 quotes with a full spectrum of prices points. We went to three Tile and Granite companies, spoke with countless experts and novices and reached back out to Top Onyx. The entire crew came out, discussed what "edges" looked the best with Quartz, Nouveau Calacatta, a beautiful marble similar material with gray veins flowing. After all was said and done, Top Onyx worked with our budget, came down on their prices with a few changes in our new choices of edge work and delivered the most stunning product ever. Watching the guys install, with an understanding in craftsmanship and construction was a pleasant experience. Their demeanor, respect level of the home, shutting the door every time they walked out, keeping the workspace clean, measuring, remeasuring, grinding, polishing, honing, leveling; every step had the highest consideration level of a true craftsmanship style attitude. From start to finish we were listened too. Each step was explained, even before I asked the install team; Juan, Eduardo and Bals. They were respectful to my kids and my family. I watched them get excited when they matched a seam or made a measurement perfect; it was exciting for me because I express the same excitement when I work. In closing two things stood out: Their Motto is "Bringing Craftsmanship Back and on the bottom of their t shirts: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Go with Top Onyx. Our dream kitchen is a reality because of their ability to work a little magic as long as you have a little faith.
I highly recommend DeWayne and the Top Onyx team. We had our kitchen counters replaced with granite, and added a backsplash and stone to our island. We also added stone to the wall in our front room. Not only did DeWayne come and give a quote, but he was very consultative and helped us think about the products we might use. I hadn't planned on getting counters when he came out for the estimate, but he quoted a great price and I'm so glad we added that to the project. Everything was on schedule including the Plummer who showed up immediately after the counters and sink were installed to hook the plumbing up. Noel did the stone and backsplash and was an amazing craftsman. You always hear stories about contractors who don't live up to expectations, but the Too Onyx team made this so smooth and easy that they far exceeded my expectations. Including a couple of pics!
These guys came to work! We needed baseboards installed and hired them for the project. The price was within our budget and fair. What an awesome job. They were very professional and did the job in a timely manner. I was impressed from start to finish. Dewayne and Jennifer were so accommodating, very nice and responsive. I loved how they followed up with us to ensure everything was done to our liking and answered any questions we had. The crew that did the work really knew what they were doing and showed quality workmanship. I am a happy customer and would definitely recommend Top Onyx.
ATTENTION CONSUMERS..... Hands-down definitely the ONLY place to go for ALL your countertop needs!!! Several other fabricators left me in the dust for over a month and a half and this company was as attentive and receptive as one could EVER ask for!
